Tasks and Process

As a tool mechanic, you are the specialist in our toolmaking and forming technology. You manufacture pressure, injection, punching and forming tools, as well as press and embossing molds, and produce metal or plastic parts. During your apprenticeship, you will learn everything you need for the production and maintenance of tools and equipment in the stamping and forming technology. With this training, you will gain a broad knowledge of manufacturing techniques, paving the way for a successful career.

Requirements and duration of apprenticeship

To apply for this apprenticeship, you need at least a qualifying certificate from a Mittelschule, also known as "Quali". The regular apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years. If you have the necessary qualifications, we also offer an additional qualification in industrial electrical engineering.
