    Job DescriptionSocial Media Strategist H)A leading University is seeking a Social Media Strategist.

    The ideal candidate has 5 years of relevant experience strongly preferred including knowledge of and experience in the field of public policy.

    Hourly pay:
    $40/hrWorksite: Leading University (Stanford, CA Onsite)


    W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL40 hours/week, may require occasional work on evenings and weekends, 7 Month AssignmentSocial Media Strategist Qualifications: 5 years of relevant experience strongly preferred including knowledge of and experience in the field of public policy.

    Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience in the workforce, or combination of education and relevant experience required.

    Experience and understanding of effective ways for a public policy research center/think tank to use social media to reach target audiences.

    Experience leading highly-functioning teams.

    Excellent research skills with an ability to distill complicated policy issues in a way that appeals to social media audiences, as well as pulling from the library of Institutional research in relation to current policy debates/news issues.

    Ability to illustrate proven success with growing various social media audiences and increasing engagement. Knowledge of the web, technology, social platforms, current and future trends.
    Excellent writing and analytical skills.
    Interest in Public Policy, Political Science, and History is strongly recommended.
    Demonstrated problem solver.

    Ability to leverage current and future trends to help an organization succeed at the initiative level, for a specific group, team or unit.

    Ability to work independently to meet expected deadlines and schedules.
