Come our client's Account Risk Management team as a Risk Management Representative with their Underwriting department. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with an operations mindset and strong analytical skills to support our customers in their quest for funding to grow their business. You will be responsible for analyzing business cash flow and demonstrating customer empathy to set appropriate financial guardrails, driving decisions that significantly impact both our customers and the client.
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simply lay out the conclusions and reasons for each decision -Financial background; knowledge of financial statement components and solid understanding of key risk drivers -Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment -Strong analytical and problem-solving background with the ability to work independently -Working knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Office suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internal system tools -1-2 years of experience in small business or commercial underwriting -Empathy and understanding of the small business owner and their finances -Operationally savvy with the ability to constantly focus on the process and to develop and implement operational changes in order to improve efficiency and limit risk throughout the underwriting process
Bachelors degree is preferred in business, finance, or economics
