Our team is expanding, and we are currently hiring a Configuration Control Specialist.

This team member will report directly into Engineering and is responsible for the data managed within the Axcelis Business Systems.

They will manage, control and maintain the accuracy of Windchill PLM objects.

They will also be responsible for developing, managing, training and communicating key processes that will drive consistency to all areas of Axcelis that generate change for existing and new products.

Ensuring that product team members understand and know the processes in place to:
Manage training materials, document the designs, revise and build requirements for both new and existing products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- **Support configuration processes, including reviewing engineering documentation and life cycle states.**:

Understanding of configuration management processes within a PLM System that supports R&D Engineering

Understands how objects are managed within Windchill PLM:

Validation of change notices, object states, structure, identify discrepancies, clearly communicate process gaps, manage CRB/TRB meetings, and tracking of implementations throughout the CN process

Ensure quality and timely Engineering CN implementation meets the needs of the business

Evaluate, develop, improve Configuration Management business processes, identify gaps. Communicate & implement changes
:

Hold others accountable for results and drive issues to conclusion

Ability to understand implications of data integrity analyze trends and guide others to corrective action
:

Evaluate, define, and improve, metrics reporting for CN's
:

-
Individual must be able to work at a computer for 8+ hours daily

5 years of Configuration Management, Documentation Control, Engineering Change Management, utilizing Windchill PLM
:

-
Experience in a Concurrent Product Development environment:

-
Minimum of Associates degree required, BS or BA preferred
