Description
:Under limited supervision, the HR Assistant handles various administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's Human Resources department.
Essential Job Functions:- Maintains accurate and uptodate human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provides clerical support to the HR department.
- Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, workers' compensation, and retirement plan providers.
- Conducts or assists with new hire onboarding.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, company meetings, employee recognition events, and more
- Assist with processing benefit invoices and audits
- Support management with various job functions and other duties
- Completes miscellaneous duties & projects as assigned
- Backup to the Receptionist for breaks and vacation
Requirements:
- One to Two years of experience in administrative roles preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
