Diagnostic Medical Sonographer III - Fremont, United States - Sutter Health
Description
A diagnostic medical sonographer III is required to perform routine and specialized sonography procedures with high complexity at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation ALD, California.
They must graduate from an accredited formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program and possess certification and licensure in ARDMS and BLS.
They must possess at least three of the following certifications:Abdomen, Breast, Fetal Echocardiography (FE), OB/GYN, Pediatric Sonography and RVT. They are also expected to have at least 5 years of recent relevant experience.
The diagnostic medical sonographer III works independently with sound judgment and executes seasoned clinical skills to deliver accurate results in a timely manner, adhering to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures for optimal patient care.
They must work in collaboration with physicians, other healthcare professionals, patients, and families to deliver competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
This is a part-time position with a weekly work schedule of 24 hours per week. This position may regularly work, store, prepare, receive, unpack, transport, dispose of, or administer drug(s) identified as hazardous.
