Technical Purchaser (f/m/d) in Lewistown, MO

Your Role:

As a Technical Purchaser in Lewistown, MO, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest safety, health, environmental, and compliance standards for cruising.

You will work to enhance communication and streamline processes between ship and shore, with the goal of achieving net carbon-neutral ship operations by 2050.

This role is part of Carnival Maritime's new center of excellence, which is dedicated to supporting the company's decarbonization strategy and addressing technological challenges.

Your Responsibilities:

Ensure timely and costeffective supply of technical materials and services, adhering to specifications and quality standards.
Select suppliers based on strategic recommendations and manage the request for offers.
Resolve any discrepancies in quality or quantity and handle claims with vendors.
Coordinate and monitor the supply chain from requisition to delivery.
Promote continuous improvement, both within the department and with suppliers.

Your Profile:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Maritime Management.
Previous experience in procurement is required.
Fluent in English.
Proficient in Excel and other computer skills.
