    RN Supervisor - House

    Cost Center: 351011200 BDHos-Nursing Administration

    Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36

    Employee Type: Regular

    Work Shift: 12-hour night shifts, variable days (United States of America)

    JOB SUMMARY

    • Coordinate patient care for accrediting and regulatory compliance
    • Adjust nursing staffing based on patient needs

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    1. Collaborate with managers for patient care support
    2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly
    3. Ensure clinical quality and service excellence
    4. Facilitate patient flow efficiently
    5. Delegate tasks accurately
    6. Maintain understanding of clinical departments
    7. Facilitate staff's professional development
    8. Participate in education and training
    9. Recognize and motivate staff
    10. Utilize Performance Improvement principles
    11. Develop relationships with patients, families, departments, and physicians
    12. Report safety concerns promptly
    13. Manage conflicts effectively
    14. Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills
    15. Act as a clinical mentor
    16. Ensure role-specific competencies are met
    17. Attendance is crucial for role obligations

    ADDITIONAL DUTIES

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION

    Minimum Required: Diploma or degree in nursing

    Preferred/Optional: Bachelor's degree in nursing

    EXPERIENCE

    Minimum Required: Three years' medical/nursing experience

    Preferred/Optional: Management/supervisor experience

    CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

    Minimum Required:
    - Current State of Wisconsin RN License
    - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by AHA within one month of employment

    Preferred/Optional:
    - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by AHA at hire
    - Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification for Infant Care Units
