Description

Insight Global is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Analyst - Accounting and Reporting to assist our large renewable energy client's Accounting and Reporting team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the team supervisor and organization with the preparation of financial statements and adapting to a new system implementation.

Core Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Perform rollforward procedures and update templates to align with new system implementations.
Respond to ad-hoc requests and provide analytical support to the accounting team as needed.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve reporting efficiency.

Specific experience in Power/Utility/Energy industry
4-5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting.
A Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in financial statement preparation (balance sheets, cashflows).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
