In-House Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location:
Boston, MA
The Corporate Recruiter will manage the recruitment needs of the Organization and support recruiting efforts at all locations. They will source and recruit candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, and networking groups.
The Recruiter will be responsible for pre-screening potential candidates and presenting them to the Hiring Manager for review and interview.
Administrative duties related to recruiting, including creating and posting positions, scheduling interviews, coordinating testing, and assisting with onboarding new employees, will also be handled by the Recruiter.
The Corporate Recruiter will utilize advanced internet searching resources to generate prospective candidates, advertise and solicit resumes from qualified candidates, and screen resumes and applications for suitability.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum 1-3 years' experience in sourcing in a manufacturing, distribution, or retail environment
Skills and Abilities:
Experience with social media recruiting
Strong interviewing skills and familiarity with various interview techniques (like video or panel interviews)
Familiarity with full cycle recruitment
Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Ability to effectively interface with management
Proficient in MS Office products
Ability to travel to other facilities on a limited basis
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will also be responsible for enhancing our employer brand to ensure that we consistently attract top talent.
Sourcing:
Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans
Source passive candidates using various tools and platforms
Leverage professional associations, networking, and other methods to generate diverse candidate pools
Organize hiring events and participate in job fairs
Oversee internal and external communication to maintain a positive employer reputation
Develop and maintain relationships with universities and employment agencies
Analyze existing talent acquisition procedures and develop more efficient methods
Staffing:
Evaluate resumes and screen candidates for open requisitions
Hire, retain, and develop the right people
Improve and maintain staffing levels
Increase new hire quality and potential levels
Work with Managers to fill open positions with the right candidates
Identify candidates with potential for development
Provide a qualified workforce for a growing organization
Reduce the dependency on contingent workforce
Conduct job studies, construct job-related criteria, and recommend applicants for interviews
Conduct recruitment efforts for various personnel
Manage both internal and external job postings
Assist in creating job-related interview questions
Check applicant references, make job offers, and initiate new hire paperwork
Maintain compliance with employment regulations
Retention:
Participate in development and execution of orientation programs for new employees
Hire the right person for the position
Ensure employment selection process builds bench strength
Assist and track employee onboarding
Prepare and maintain job documentation and salary structure systems
Track recruitment KPIs
Conduct 30/60/90 day new employee stay meetings
