Vishay Siliconix Itzehoe GmbH is a development and production site for power transistors with over 520 employees. Vishay is investing in a new semiconductor chip factory with 300mm technology in Itzehoe, which will be ready for production in 2026. With this expansion, we are doubling our production capacities and creating 150 additional jobs.

We are looking forward to friendly and dedicated trainees starting on September 1, 2024 for the Mechatronics apprenticeship.

Training content

Mechanical work
Measurement and testing tasks of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components
Manual and machine-based machining, cutting, and forming
Installation of electrical assemblies and components
Programming of mechatronic systems
Construction and testing of controls, networks, and bus systems
Maintenance of mechatronic systems
