    Key job responsibilities


    As a Principal Product Manager - Tech in GTMC SIERRA (Science, Insights, Experience, Research, Reporting & Analytics), you'll be an individual contributor who owns the long-term strategy and product vision for our insight inspection experiences within People eXperience and Technology (PXT) to enable leaders to make better, more equitable outcomes throughout the employee lifecycle.

    You'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end product lifecycle and leading cross-functional teams to deliver on your product roadmap. Your product management expertise will enable you to look around corners, mitigate risks, and effectively escalate to unblock delivery.

    You'll lead customer, stakeholder, and partner engagements to help set priorities and drive trade-off decisions between customer benefit and complexity.

    You'll use data and anecdotes to craft crisp, compelling, and well-reasoned documents to drive strategic alignment with senior leaders. Likewise, you'll provide regular written updates to senior leaders, partners, and stakeholders to provide progress against goals.

    A day in the life


    As a Principal Product Manager - Tech in GTMC SIERRA, your day will be a mix of meetings and heads-down time for strategic planning and tactical execution.

    You'll meet with customers; peers across product, engineering, applied science, research science, data science, economics, and UX; as well as your partners and stakeholders throughout PXT.

    You'll seek to understand customer impact, business value, and opportunities for collaboration. You'll work across teams to break down silos, drive transparency, and accelerate delivery.

    You'll regularly serve as a doc captain for your product space and you'll be a thought-partner for and contributor to MBRs, QBRs, 3YPs, OP1s, etc.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • 8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Experience technical product management
    • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
    • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
    • Experience with end to end product delivery
    • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
    • Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders
    • Experience leading cross-organizational programs and setting and holding teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
    • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

    The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market.

    Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
