    Exro Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Controls Engineer. In this position, you will work with engineering team members to solve hard problems. You will oversee various types of equipment and systems. An important competency in this position is to research, test, and analyze ideas for possible system and process improvements.

    Success in this role will be demonstrated by meeting safety and quality standards while driving revenue increase through improved production process.

    Key Responsibilities Include
    Development and test control model simulations for the Coil Driver and other applications
    Support c code generation from model simulation software's
    Support prototype and integration testing of the Coil Driver
    Work with engineering team members on a continuous path of learning and solving hard problems.

    Skills
    Model-based programming proficiency (Ansys SCADE, Matlab Simulink, Labview, etc.)
    Motor control proficiency (PID controllers, Hysteresis controllers, DQZ transform (FOC), 6-segment control(DTC), H-bridge/3-phase inverter simulation, PMAC motor simulation, induction motor simulation)
    Git proficiency
    Experience with Windows
    Embedded development on TI/ST/ARM microcontrollers experience is a plus
    Experience working with bug-tracking systems (JIRA, Asana) is a plus
    Experience working with automated testing/test management software is a plus
    Linux kernel/RTOS development experience is a plus
    C/C++, Python, C# competencies are a plus
    Experience in interfacing with embedded hardware is a plus
    Credentials & Experience
    5-10 years of demonstrated experience in Controls theory, Motor controls, simulation related Software development
    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
    Proven ability to work well as part of a team and with minimal supervision
    Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
    Ability to travel occasionally, including international travel
    Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and effectively handle multiple tasks
