    Local Contract Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery Position Description

    Job Details

    • Specialty: Labor and Delivery

    • Durations:< 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, Shifts available with option to work additional shifts.< p>We are seeking an experienced labor delivery rn for a high performing team in Poughkeepsie NY. Job function includes assessing categorizing patients into appropriate level of care implementing timely interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns maternal condition administering medications safely according infection control standards identifying responding obstetric emergencies escalating providers appropriately assist physicians midwives during labor delivery postpartum care requirements minimum years high risk OB setting or circulating C sections pacu recovery room experience preferred current Labor & Delivery experience active New York State License NRP Advanced CEFM through NCC AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring benefits weekly pay employer sponsored retirement plan all qualified applicants receive consideration employment without regard race color religion sex sexual orientation gender identity national origin protected veteran status disability
