    WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced

    Telemetry Registered Nurse

    for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital

    in

    Poughkeepsie, NY.


    Job Function:
    Night Shift.

    3x12: 7pm-7:30am.

    Monitor cardiac activity using EKG equipment and continuously track heart performance.

    Analyze EKG results,

    identify

    abnormalities, and document findings accurately.

    Oversee and support cardiac stress testing procedures.

    Provide emergency interventions for cardiac events and other

    life‑threatening conditions.

    Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.

    Educate patients on

    lifestyle modifications, medications, and follow‑up care prior to discharge.

    Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure

    optimal

    patient outcomes.


    Job Requirements:
    5+ years of experience.

    Strong background in high‑acuity Med/Surg or step‑down settings.

    Experience in teaching hospital environments.

    Active NY RN License.

    BLS (AHA).

    ACLS (AHA).

    Minimum 3 years of recent acute Med/Surg experience.
