    Position:

    Collections Specialist Schedule :
    M-TH, 8-4p.w/1/2 hr. lunch F, 8a-2p Location: Honolulu area Payrate: $16/hr


    Job Description :
    This person will be calling on past due accounts.

    A solid portion of their business is with a medical company so they will be collecting on medical fees that were disallowed by insurance companies.

    All applicants must have excellent communication skills and a stable employment background that consist of being with one employer for at least two or more years.


    Essential Functions :
    All applicants should have at least 1 year of collections experience and excellent communication skills


    Job Duties:
    Monitor the firms accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts.

    Contact customers with overdue accounts and attempt to either collect the overdue amount or negotiate a payment plan to collect it in installments.

    Use credit bureau data, post office information, internet searches and other tools to try to locate customers who have moved or changed phone numbers.

    Maintain records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent account customers as well as records of any payments collected from the customer.

    Resolve customer issues and complaints concerning billing.
    Submit regular reports on the status of unpaid accounts and any repayment progress.#J-18808-Ljbffr
