As a registered behavior technician or behavior technician your role will be to support and implement patients care plan created by a board-certified behavior analyst.
Provide ABA interventions that encourage socially acceptable replacement behaviors so clients can build and improve upon their communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills.
Part-time and Full-time positions available.
- Desire to achieve positive outcomes for clients w/ various developmental disabilities
- Represent the Strive ABA Consultants and our mission positively in all interactions
- Initiate and Implement therapy programs developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) during a 1:1 session with a client
- Track, enter and record data during session while targeting different skills related to communication, social skills, play skills, daily living skills(dressing, potty training), etc.
- Demonstrate understanding of the fundamentals of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) through sessions being observed by your BCBA
- Comfortable working with individuals who may exhibit some challenging target behaviors such as aggression, selfinjurious, etc.

Qualifications
- Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, ABA or a related field is preferred
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Obtain RBT Certification within first 6 month of employment
- Experience working with small children with limited communication and vocalization skills and/or older children.
- Experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum
1-2 years experience in ABA and active certified RBT highly preferred.
Physical Requirements
You will possibly be working with young kiddos It's important to be able to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run for long distances.
