SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Account Manager will manage information flow to and from our customers and partners in support and generation of existing and new business.
This information flow is inclusive of but not limited to management of projects from development and approvals through fulfillment and shipping.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Perform all project management duties for assigned accounts to include:
- Communicate as required with external customers to assist in meeting their needs.
- Attend meetings, manage administrative aspects of customer interaction and requirements in Summit and customer locations.
- Direct project coordination with the customer
- Scheduling all inbound, customer product
- Initiate both projects and jobs within MRP System
- Creating Bills of Materials within the MRP system
- Initiating the purchasing for all project related materials
- Determine master production and shipping schedules
- Reporting all receipts, production, and Shipping to the customer
- Chairing internal Production startup meetings
- Communicate project details to Quality Control
- Reporting activity within Customer Systems
- Confirm reconciliation of all customer product during and postproduction
- Report reconciliation results and request disposition
- Ensure Customer PO's reflect services reflected on quotation
- Ensure MRP line tickets are accurate
- Secure and place orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment
- Collaborate and share Innovation with customer
- Actively participate in new technology introductions and/or implementations
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of account management experience within supply chain.
- Must be detail oriented and well organized
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload and adjust to changing priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
- Strong creative thinking, analytical skills and proven project and vendor management skills is required
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to: stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
This position requires work in both an office setting and occasionally a warehouse setting. Work often requires "after hours" communication or extended work hours, including weekend or evening work.
Working conditions in the warehouse setting may or may not be environmentally controlled resulting in hot or cold temperatures, and work may be in areas where there is moving warehouse equipment.
Pay:
$50, $60,000.00 per year
