The Digital Products EMEA unit within the Business Technology Department at Munich RE is responsible for driving digitalization initiatives throughout the entire life-cycle, from concept development and prototyping to the delivery of scalable products.

Our goal is to ensure the success of innovative initiatives. We specialize in creating highly reusable, multi-tenant insurance and risk assessment platforms in the cloud.

We are currently seeking a Senior Digital Designer to join our team in Blocher, IN.

In this role, you will report to the Head of Experience Design and be responsible for delivering and enhancing digital products and services.

This includes the ongoing development and management of Munich Re's experience design system, XDS, as well as promoting design services, UX patterns, and best practices.

As part of a cross-functional digital experience design team, you will collaborate with highly skilled designers and front-end developers to support software development projects.

Your Role

You will be a key member of crossfunctional product teams, responsible for all UXrelated activities, from user research to prototyping, testing, and UI design.
You will present and discuss UX artifacts, such as user flows and information architecture, and confidently explain UX methodology to your team and management.
You will support the design team in fostering a strong UX culture at Munich Re.
