    Description
    Mechanical Design Engineer

    We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Butler America Aerospace, LLC. based in Grand Prairie, TX. If you have a BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and experience in 3D CAD modeling, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

    Location: Grand Prairie, TX

    Pay Range: $50-59

    Contract Duration: 12 Months

    Requirements:

    • BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
    • Minimum number of years of relevant experience
    • Geometric Dimension and Tolerance understanding
    • 3D CAD modeling and drafting experience
    • Experience with formalized drawing release process and configuration management

    Responsibilities:

    This role involves collaborating with various engineering functions, such as Stress Analysis, Materials and Processes, Test, and Production to develop the tech data package for production. The candidate will work under the guidance of a Lead Design Engineer and must ensure timely completion of engineering design and drawing tasks.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Strong performance in a small team environment
    • Experience in Missile or Rocket programs
    • Proficiency in Creo CAD software
    • Familiarity with Windchill PDM software
