    Description

    Tucker holmes, P.C., a well-established Denver area insurance defense firm, is seeking an experienced office administrator. Job requirements are listed below. Starting salary is $90,000 per year with some flexibility for candidates with exceptional qualifications and experience.     GENERAL SUMMARY

    Financial:

    · Responsible for the Firm's financial management function, including preparation of financial analyses, budget, and reports.

    · Oversee and direct all general management accounting functions, including general ledger, cash receipts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, fixed assets, bank reconciliation and client trust funds. Monitor cash flow and perform cash management, including management of operating and savings accounts, line of credit, and maintaining adequate compensating balances.

    · Responsible for operation and maintenance of computerized accounting and billing systems. Prepare and distribute client billing.

    · Prepares semi-monthly payroll, and associated benefit related submissions.

    Firm Management:

    · Manage the operations of the Firm to function smoothly and expected to creatively define and enhance the scope of the operation.

    · Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements, billing, and accounts receivable reports for management.

    · Prepare financial reports and summaries for quarterly and year-end shareholder meetings.

    · Create annual budget as well as long term fiscal plans for Firm.

    · Coordinate the functioning and security of the firm through its IT vendor.

    Staff Management:

    · Manage the administrative and legal staff.

    · Direct the development, implementation, and management of policies and programs related to employee relations, performance management, organizational development, compensation, benefits, and general personnel administration.

    · Conduct recruiting and hiring efforts for all support staff positions, permanent and temporary employees, and assist with recruiting and hiring efforts for all attorney positions.

    · Coordinate and assist with training of new administrative and legal staff.

    · Plan, manage, and administer day-to-day HR matters.

    · Evaluate current benefits offered to employees and work with benefit providers and Plan/401(k) custodians regarding benefits and plans.
