    Description

    We are hiring a person, not a position, for the Sound Productions Technology Team. At SoundPro we believe in providing tools and opportunity to our team members and growing them for success. We don't have employees, only team members, and are very proud of that.

    The IT Support Specilaist will be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of all technology systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines. The position will supervise the implementation and maintenance of new and existing applications, projects, and computing needs as assigned.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    Technical Support (40%)

    · Provide technical support to team members.

    · Troubleshoot software and hardware.

    · Present a courteous "bedside manner" when assisting team members.

    Systems Maintenance and Administration (30%)

    · Ensure system updates and backups are scheduled and conducted.

    · Document problems and changes in our IT management software.

    IT Operations and Record Keeping (20%)

    · Maintain IT Inventory records.

    · Maintain software licensing records.

    IT Security (10%)

    · Assist in monitoring cybersecurity systems.

    · Provide cybersecurity awareness training when required.

    Professional Expectations

    · Maintain a professional and patient demeanor.

    · Assist other IT team members outside of expertise; collaborate and brainstorm.

    · Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

    · After-hours maintenance is occasionally required, with flexibility to shift schedules from normal working hours to accommodate.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • High level understanding of industry best practices for monitoring infrastructure including IaaS and PaaS components, Windows server, IIS, networking and storage components, and application performance monitoring.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact across a diverse group of stakeholders including development, project owners, business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
    • Experience with Sage100, SageCRM, SQL, Nextiva, BigCommerce and EDI preferred
    • Experience in on-prem environments, Office 365, and Active Directory administration required
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
    • Proficiency in Windows Server sna Active Directory Administration
    • Strong project management and organization skills, ability to manage/ execute multiple strategic initiatives.
    • Self-motivated individual that possesses excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, relationship building skills, and ability to achieve results.
    • BS/BBA in Computer Science, MIS or similar field, or equivalent work experience.
