Where will you be working?:

In 1919, Royal Avebe began as a sales office for potato flour. At that time, it was only to organize sales for several independent potato starch cooperatives.

Now, 100 years later, we continuously produce and innovate solutions based on potato starch and proteins for food, industry, and animal feed.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a:


Communication and Public Affairs Advisor (m/f/d):


Tasks and Responsibilities:


  • Creation and monitoring of the communication plan for Avebe in Germany
  • Development of communication tools for employees and employer branding strategies
  • Development of communication tools for farmers and contractors in the KPW and Weser-Ems region
  • Development of communication instruments for press and stakeholders
  • Acting as a company spokesperson (including in crisis situations)
  • Building and maintaining a network within German local politics, as well as with stakeholders such as industry associations and other companies
  • Awareness of important topics such as energy and climate policy, agricultural policy, and water/drought
  • Writing correspondence and position papers
In this position, you will work closely with your communication colleagues and the Public Affairs Manager in the Netherlands. Together with them, you will convey the identity and history of Avebe. The communication department works with a strategic communication plan with the main
