    The Goal: The Hospital Sales Representative plays a crucial role in promoting and selling the medical care or services the hospital provides to prospective surgeons and referring providers. This position requires a blend of sales acumen, industry knowledge, and relationship-building skills to effectively communicate the value of the services offered.

    What You Will Do:

    1. Sales and Account Management:
      • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned territory.
      • Identify and prioritize key hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers as potential clients.
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital administrators, purchasing managers, and key decision-makers.
      • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to healthcare professionals, highlighting features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
      • Negotiate contracts and agreements in alignment with company policies and objectives.
    2. Market Analysis and Business Development:
      • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
      • Conduct market research to identify potential areas for business expansion and growth.
      • Collaborate with CEO and CNO teams to provide feedback on surgeon needs and service enhancements.
    3. Customer Support and Service:
      • Provide ongoing support and assistance to surgeons and referring providers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and service-related issues promptly and effectively.
      • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless, high quality satisfaction of partner surgeons.
      • Conduct training sessions and workshops for healthcare professionals.
    4. Reporting and Documentation:
      • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, surgeon interactions, and market insights using CRM software.
      • Prepare regular reports and updates for management, summarizing sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sales forecasts, budgets, and sales strategies.

    What You Need to be Successful:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Proven experience in sales or business development within the healthcare industry.
    • Strong understanding of hospital operations, elective surgical care, and healthcare regulations.
    • Ideal candidate will have base of referring provider, attorney or surgeon contacts.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
    • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
