- Design, develop, and maintain software applications according to project requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues as needed.
- Write automated tests to ensure software reliability and stability.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance, support, and feedback to help them grow in their roles.
- Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in software development and engineering principles.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or in a business relevant discipline is required
- 10+ years experience in software development, with a focus on PHP, JavaScript, SQL (especially MySQL), and NoSQL (particularly MongoDB).
- Proficiency in PHP and JavaScript, including frameworks such as Symfony, React, or ExtJS.
- Strong understanding of SQL databases, with hands-on experience in MySQL.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, including data modeling and query optimization.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub
- Sencha ExtJS experience
- Amazon Web Services experience including S3, EC2, and RDS.

- Hybrid - 2 days in our Brookfield, WI office (not a remote position)

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Software Engineer Level III to join our growing team. As a Software Engineer Level III, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software applications to meet the needs of our clients and users. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the design and implementation of software solutions. This position reports to the Information Systems Manager.
