- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management review.
- Complete intercompany transactions and reconsilitations across 10+ entities
- Oversee payroll processing and taxation compliance, including GST, PAYG, and BAS lodgements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities as necessary.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity management, optimising financial resources for project development.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets, cost estimates, and variance analysis.
- Stay updated on industry trends, accounting principles, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CA qualification preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in accounting or finance roles, preferably within the property development or construction industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
