Responsibilities:


The Warehouse Associate - Equipment Operator uses power industrial equipment to load and unload, move or stack materials or products and ensures the neat, orderly condition of the warehouse.

  • Uses power industrial equipment to load and unload, move or stack materials or products;
  • Operates manual or electric carts in order to fill orders
  • From the receiving area, scan and count items and load on cart
  • Stock items appropriately by location and quantity
  • Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and put them in the proper location on the shelves
  • Check off merchandise as received
  • Correct mistakes found on the inventory count sheet
  • Assist in pulling parts during busy times
  • Work with stock manager to address any problems with orders
  • Miscellaneous projects and perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 12 years experience operating power industrial equipment
  • Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
  • Understanding Map Locations
  • Sorting by alpha or numeric
  • Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
  • Focus and remain on task in a fastpaced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Great communication skillss

  • Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 1050lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up
to 100 lbs.

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
  • Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/ or stairs) or balance
  • May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
