The Washington Waldorf School, located in Bethesda, Maryland, is seeking Teaching Assistants to support our teachers in grades 1 and 2, beginning with the school year.
This is a part-time hourly position for approximately 18-21 hours per week, generally, Monday-Friday mornings. Attendance at weekly department meetings (Tuesday afternoon) as well as meeting with the class teacher will be required.Primary responsibilities include:
- Ability to follow directions from the Class Teacher.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Familiarity or strong interest in Waldorf education is preferred.
- Ability to pass a Maryland Background check.
