About Us


We are currently seeking a Tool Mechanic (m/f/d) to join our team for our client in Oakland as soon as possible.

Your Profile

  • Completed vocational training as a toolmaker/tool mechanic or similar qualification
  • Relevant practical experience
  • Knowledge in the field of stamping and forming technology is desirable
  • Willingness to work in a 2shift operation
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Independent and structured work style
  • High quality awareness, precise workmanship, and manual dexterity
  • Communication and teamwork skills
Your Responsibilities

  • Repairing and maintaining followon compound and forming tools
  • Creating new punching, drawing, and followon compound tools, welding and testing fixtures
  • Adapting components using construction data and drawings
  • Damage analysis and coordination of repair costs
  • Independent setting up and operating of production equipment (turning, milling, grinding machines)
  • Documenting and monitoring the ongoing production process from a tooling perspective
