    Description
    Position: Assistant Manager at Isleta Resort and Casino
    • The Assistant Manager plays a vital role as a trusted sidekick to the Store Manager at two store locations.
    • Responsibilities include supervising team members, creating schedules, managing inventory, sales, and assets, and ensuring top-notch service for customers and staff.
    • In the Store Manager's absence, the Assistant Manager takes charge of both stores.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
    • Operates the store, supervises employees, and handles cash registers and equipment.
    • Ensures excellent customer service, compliance with laws and regulations, and proper store maintenance.
    • Assists in sales and profits planning, merchandising, and promotions, while maintaining inventory and enforcing store policies.
    • Handles accounting, loss prevention, security, and communicates maintenance needs.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Knowledge of office equipment and cash registers, strong communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
    • Ability to handle customer complaints, adverse situations, and work well with a team.

    Supervision:
    • Assists in hiring, evaluating, disciplining, and training support staff.
    • Coordinates training and delegates work to staff.

      • Education and Experience:
      • High School Diploma or GED required.
      • Operational experience as a Sales Associate preferred.
      • Supervisory or management experience in retail field preferred.
      • Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, problem-solving, and computer skills preferred.
      • Special certifications such as Gaming License, Alcohol Service Certification, and others required.

      Physical Demands and Work Environment:
      • Requires occasional standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and various vision abilities.
      • Work environment may involve moderate noise levels and exposure to different weather conditions.
      • May encounter irate individuals at times.
