- Supporting Amazon Web Services (AWS) toolsets in an unclassified environment
- Maintaining multiple CI/CD environments at multiple classification levels where AWS is not available
- Configuring CI/CD environments for application performance, security monitoring, and alerting
- Acting as a point person with the corporate STR IT organization to ensure that infrastructure toolsets are configured, maintained, reliable, and in compliance with Department of Defense standards
- Advocating for and educating software engineers on DevOps fundamentals while helping to implement professional, commercial software development processes This role will take advantage of STR's flexible, hybrid environment - when the work does not require use of STR's facilities (based out of Woburn, MA or Arlington, VA), you are welcome to work remotely up to 50% of the time
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field
- CI/CD tools and pipeline automation
- Cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), and automated provisioning tools (such as Ansible, Chef, TerraForm)
- Containerization technologies such as Docker and Podm Organized, detail-oriented, and with an ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Demonstrated experience as an effective communicator to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Active Security Clearance at the Secret or Top Secret (TS) level
- MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field
- Full web-service stack, including databases, logging, and monitoring
- Project tracking tools such as Jira
- Deploying and maintaining artifact repositories (such as Nexus, Artifactory)
- Deploying and configuring static and dynamic code analysis tools (such as SonarQube, Coverity)
- Kubernetes management solutions such as EKS and Rancher, along with deploying and monitoring Kubernetes clusters and pod configurations
- Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM software development frameworks

The Mission Applications (MA) Group in the Analytics Division develops and deploys software-intensive mission capabilities to defense and intelligence customers, leveraging technologies from STR research and development (R&D) groups, while matrixing in significant numbers of engineering staff from those groups
Staff organic to the mission applications group have skills specifically targeting transition of technology to operational use, including program management, integration engineering at customer sites, DevSecOps , and business development with a deep understanding of missions and technology needs for national security
