Job Title:
Project Analyst/IT Specialist

NIRA, Inc.

is looking for a Project Analyst/IT Specialist for a major FAA Directorate at the FAA Headquarter, who can provide IT and logistics support to on-site and remote federal employees.

The individual needs to demonstrate the ability to work independently and within a team. The position will be in a hybrid working environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:
_**- Support new federal employees to settle in their new teams/programs.

  • Prepare, submit, and track all IT Service Requests for FAA federal employees and contractors with their onboarding, offboarding or transferring needs.
  • Prepare and submit all hardware and software requests via the FAA IT process.
  • Provide technical support to employees, such as troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with ITrelated inquiries.
  • Support federal employees to request wireless devices and track status of delivery.
  • Resolve logistic and IT delivery issues with FAA IT personnel.
  • Support onsite space planning efforts by identifying available space, maintaining/updating seating charts and working with FAA Facility Management for new employees and employee transfers.
  • Create and update IT SOPs.
  • Provide basic training when needed regarding available IT tools and systems.
  • Provide general administrative support, including data entry and system access.
  • Act as a liaison between the Directorate and various Program Offices, facilitating effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
_**- Bachelor's degree

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
