    Summary

    We are looking for multi-disciplined engineer to assist in design and implement the building of custom equipment in the leak testing and vacuum chamber markets.

    Must have ability to manage large complex projects with skills in both mechanical and electrical industrial automation.

    Candidate must be adaptive to various project sizes and types while exhibiting accuracy, decisiveness and working in a fast-paced environment.

    Candidates must be skilled in the design of industrial control panels, creating electrical schematics, with some PLC programming a plus.

    Projects vary from complex turn-key automation machines to simple cost-effective solutions.

    Must be able to see the big picture but also manage all the small details for various projects going at the same time.

    Will work closely with customers to ensure their requirements and timeline are kept.

    Candidates must exhibit the ability to be quick learners and pick up the skills and expertise needed to be a successful engineer.

    Description
    Passion for comprehensive system design, control systems, and machine safety
    Ability to manage large complex projects with skills in both mechanical and electrical industrial automation.
    Ability to be adaptive to various project sizes and types.
    Ability to internalize standards in many industries.
    Great communication skills with both customer and internal shop personnel
    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while exhibiting accuracy and decisiveness.

    Ability to see the big picture but also manage all the small details for various projects going on at the same time.

    Work closely with customers, both remotely and on-site, to ensure their requirements and timelines are kept.
    Skills Required
    Proficient in SolidWorks Electrical Software
    Design of control panels -high power and control power
    Ability to read, understand and create electrical schematics.
    Skilled in electrical calculations
    Proficient in safety standards and wiring
    Understand and apply proper electrical standards, such as NFPA 79
    PLC programming and HMI software proficiency (Allen Bradley)
    Excellent organizational skills
    Ability to program and learn cross-platform software per customer needs (common PLC vendors, Lab View, OPC/SCADA needs)
    Ability to write and interpret software flow documents.
    Knowledge of leak testing and vacuum technology is a plus.
    Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook
    Experience in pneumatic design and general industrial automation
    Education & Experience
    4 Year Engineering Degree
    0-5 years minimum in an engineering discipline
    Job Details

    Pay:
    $75,000 to $90,000 per year depending on experience

    Shift:
    Monday through Friday regular business hours with some flexibility in your start and stop times. As well as the ability to participate in our 9/80 work schedule which gives you every other Friday off.
