Your tasks

As a city building inspector trainee with a focus on traffic engineering, you will be assigned to the Department of Roads in the Civil Engineering Office. Your tasks include:

Supervising measures such as new construction
Expansion and renovation of roads or paths
Planning of measures
Tendering and awarding contracts

What qualifications do I need?

You have a degree in civil engineering with a specialization in:

Civil Engineering (Traffic Engineering)
Civil Engineering Office, Department of Roads

In addition, you must also meet the following access requirements:

Meet the age requirement, meaning you must not be older than 39 years and 10 months at the time of hiring
Hold German citizenship or citizenship of a member state of the European Union

Training program

Duration of approximately 14 months
You will be assigned to one of the above-mentioned specialist offices, but will also gain insights into a number of other offices
Upon successful completion, you will be considered for permanent employment as a civil servant
