50% FTE, day shift. Flexible hours between Sunday - Saturday working an average of 20 hours per week. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a
Maintenance Technician to:
- Maintain heating and air conditioning equipment, emergency power systems, medical gas distribution and supply systems, food service equipment, and hospital life support systems for direct and indirect patient use. Perform diagnosis and repair equipment in emergency situations, monitor and make adjustments to the building(s) environment and lighting using a computerized building automation system and monitor and make adjustments to computerized, intelligent fire alarm systems.

Education:
Minimum - High School Diploma or GED
Preferred - Two (2) year technical diploma in HVAC, industrial, trades or related field
Work Experience:
Minimum - Two (2) years of maintenance experience or formal training,
Preferred - Two (2) years of maintenance experience or formal training, in a healthcare setting.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - Valid driver's license in the person's state of residence
- Must be 21 years of age or have three (3) years of driving experience to operate a Patient/Visitor Vehicle or UW Health Vehicle other than a golf cart or utility terrain vehicle
