Fire Alarm Systems Technician/Programmer Job Description

Lamarco Systems, Inc is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Systems Technician/Programmer responsible for Installing, servicing, programming, inspecting, testing, and performing preventative maintenance on Edwards / EST fire alarm systems.

Our customers range from small businesses to large residential and industrial complexes.

Responsibilities:

Become an expert with Edwards EST4 Fire Alarm System
Complete all company assigned training
Perform EST3 to EST4 Fire Alarm System upgrades
Perform service and deficiency repairs on fire alarm system Provide inspection, testing, and service for fire alarm equipment to comply with NFPA72 standards as well as state and local municipality codes
Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safely rules and procedures
Maintain accurate documentation of all service performed via simPRO
Complete required documentation including deficiency repair recommendations
Provide instructions to customers regarding proper system operations
Operate company vehicle and equipment in a safe matter

Experience/Skills:

Minimum 3 years' experience performing service, inspections, testing and/or maintenance of fire alarm systems
Experience with fire alarm systems programming
NICET Level I required (Level II highly preferred)
Qualify for a PERC card from the State of Illinois
Valid Driver's License
Demonstrate a high level of customer service skills
