  • As a Sheetmetal Foreman with S.I.

Goldman Company, your essential responsibilities are to:

  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to a team of sheetmetal workers, motivating them to achieve highquality results.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to the team members, ensuring efficient workflow and effective resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Develop work plans and schedules, ensuring adherence to project timelines and milestones.
  • Oversee the fabrication and installation of sheetmetal components, such as ductwork, HVAC systems, and architectural features, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and procurement staff to estimate material requirements, develop material takeoffs, and procure sheetmetal materials and supplies.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least five (5) years of sheetmetal experience
  • Proven experience as a Sheetmetal Foreman or in a similar leadership role within the sheetmetal industry.
  • Indepth knowledge of sheetmetal fabrication techniques, installation procedures, and industry standards.
  • Knowledge of International Mechanical Code (IMC) and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and motivate team members.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
