Responsibilities:

You will assume the role of Senior Expert Procurement Excellence (m/f/d) for the topics of procurement processes, procurement controlling, and project management in the global purchasing organization for the locations Gelsenkirchen, Isbergues (France), and Nashik (India)
You are responsible for continuously optimizing and further developing global procurement processes, with a focus on harmonization, automation, and digitalization
You develop procurement rules, introduce innovative procurement instruments/tools, and communicate and train them within the company
Preparing all information for conducting comprehensive procurement and inventory controlling is also part of your responsibilities, as well as monitoring compliance with defined key performance indicators
You are responsible for implementing and monitoring requirements from laws (e.g. LkSG, etc.) and certifications (e.g. ISO, etc.)
Leading/participating in companywide internal projects with a departmentspecific focus completes your tasks

Profile:

You have a degree in business or engineering (ideally with a focus on materials management/logistics) or a comparable education
You have several years of professional experience in procurement/project management, ideally in the downstream metal industry
You have a confident demeanor and strong negotiation skills
Furthermore, you possess initiative, goaloriented, structured, and independent working skills
You have good MS Office (especially PowerPoint) and excellent SAP MM knowledge
Additionally, you have an affinity for network structures and matrix organizations
Excellent English
