We're in search of a Legal Secretary who possesses experience in civil litigation to assist a Senior Attorney in overseeing a range of legal duties.

This position entails managing correspondence, motions, briefs, summaries, dictations, transcriptions, e-filing, and organizing a BUSY Outlook calendar.

Responsibilities for the Legal Secretary:

Manage MS Outlook calendar and emails for a Senior Attorney
Provide administrative and document support as assigned.
Arrange meetings, appointments, and ensure they are scheduled for each attorney and client as needed.
Ensure effective and timely document processing and communicate deadlines to attorneys.
Create reports, briefs, compose documents/correspondence, and proofread documents.
Conduct e-filing via New Mexico and Federal Court Systems.
Create and maintain legal files and contracts.

Requirements for the Legal Secretary:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail with superior proofreading abilities.
Fluent in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel, and calendaring programs.
E-filing experience in state and federal courts in New Mexico.
Working knowledge of creating and editing legal documents.
Minimum 4 years of experience in a legal support position.

Compensation for the Legal Secretary:

Legal Secretary: The pay range for this position is $24.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
