    Shipping / Receiving Leader

    Responsibilities include:

    • Leads all logistic and department functions, including training and mentoring employees.
    • Monitoring shipping requirements via shop management software.
    • Packaging product and creating packing lists for customer and supplier shipments.
    • Focus on minimizing transportation and lot charge expenses by combining multiple jobs into single shipments where possible.
    • Update shop management software as jobs ship.
    • Receive material and components into shop management software and distribute as required.
    • Safely operate a fork lift.
    • Maintain inventory in an organized manner and perform cycle counts per system requirements.
    • Establish, maintain, and update shipping/receiving procedural guides.

    Job Skills / Experience:

    • Must have experience working in ERP systems and/or shop management software to include Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
    • Experience in a similar manufacturing environment preferred.
    • Knowledgeable in overseas and export shipping is a plus.
    • Able to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance.
    • Ability to function independently and be a self-starter.
    • Organized with great attention to detail.
    • Able to multi-task in a changing environment.
