About Us:
Five Dental is a brand new, state-of-the-art dental office committed to providing the best dental care to our patients. We are looking to add another team member to our growing office.
Position Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive first impression
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and handle patient concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Collect payments and manage financial transactions accurately
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance of HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate with dental assistants and hygienists to optimize patient scheduling and flow
- Keep the reception area clean and organized
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management
Requirements:
- Previous dental office experience is preferred
- Knowledge of dental software is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in office administration or healthcare management is a bonus
