    Overview:

    We are looking for an SBA Business Development Manager to market banking services to SBA-eligible businesses, focusing on client contact, origination, and underwriting. This role involves working with customers to provide complex loans associated with SBA and other government loan programs.


    • Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and client visits.
    • Expand customer relationships by cross-selling products.
    • Develop a referral source database for local and overall SBA marketing.
    • Maintain expertise in credit policy and SBA eligibility.
    • Participate in local SBA district functions.
    • Provide feedback on policies and practices to management.
    • Promote all product lines in the assigned market.
    • Ensure loan performance meets standards.
    • Assist in servicing actions within the marketing area.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, MBA preferred.
    • 4-6 years of sales experience.
    • Understanding of financial institution operations.
    • Demonstrated customer service skills.
    • High energy and strong sales abilities.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    This role is eligible for the current SBA Business Development Officer Incentive Compensation Plan.


    Compensation:

    The base salary for this position ranges from USD $65,000.00 to USD $80,000.00 per year, with final offers based on knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
