The Freiburg-based high-tech start-up CorTec is creating new ways of communication between electrical signals of the body and modern information technology. Our neuromodulation platform technologies and electrodes enable the development of new therapies for both the central and peripheral nervous system.

Your task is

to support our development engineers in various ways. You will manage your own small development projects (e.g. feasibility of process changes), program microcontrollers for small test setups, and create and optimize electrode designs. This includes creating documents for reports and overviews.

Your profile

  • You are ideally studying mechanical engineering or medical technology
  • You are interested in a long-term commitment in development
  • You speak German fluently in both spoken and written form and ideally also have language skills in English

If we could make a wish, you already have knowledge in:

  • Construction
  • CAD design with AutoCAD and Altium
  • A programming language such as Python
  • The basics of materials science
