Description

Purpose:
The purpose of the Patient Services/Front Desk Receptionist is to a) establish rapport with all patients in the clinic, b) assist patients with scheduling, insurance verification, administration and financial matters and c) to reinforce the Physical Therapist in patient compliance with their PT program.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Patient checkin and checkout
  • Assisting patients with filling out forms with 100% accuracy
  • Knowledge of Insurance verification and authorizations
  • Patient Scheduling
  • Financial collections (copays, insurance checks, misc equipment fees)
  • Patient Chart Maintenance
  • Front Office/Area Maintenance
  • General Administrative Support

Valuable Final Product (VFP): EDUCATED PATIENT WHO MAINTAIN GOOD COMMUNICATION WITH THE CLINIC
