    Description


    Insight Global is seeking a contract Building Engineer for a top Commercial Real Estate company to conduct maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, equipment, and grounds at a facility in Columbia, MO with ~1,500 tenants.

    Responsibilities include creating work orders, inspecting HVAC systems, and overseeing minor electrical work.

    The ideal candidate will be able to respond to emergency situations quickly and be flexible to assist with a variety of tasks.

    Required Skills & Experience

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    • 2+ years of building/facility engineer experience (electrical, mechanical, HVAC systems, plumbing, carpentry, yards & grounds, chillers/boilers/air handlers)
    • Excellent written & verbal communication and ability ask clarifying questions
    Nice to Have Skills & Experience

    • CFC or Electrical Certification
    • Experience with a BMS (building management system)

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.

    Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
