About Us:
We provide services through the Self-Determination Program.
This program enables us to hire staff who are a good fit to provide caregiving and behavioral services in a private group home setting for 2 adult females.
(We are not an agency, you will only provide services to these 2 clients)About the case:
Both clients have Autism Level 3. The case is overseen by a BCBA, with a case manager assisting in their care.
Due to Self-Injurious Behavior (SIB) and behaviors towards staff (biting, hair pulling), you will be working in a team of 2-4 staff members.
You will never work alone.Compensation:
- $23 per hour for the first 3 months of probation.
- After the 3month probation period, the pay rate will increase to $25 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Engage and provide attentive care to clients with severe behaviors and autism spectrum disorder.
- Provide behavioral support and deescalation techniques.
- Collect data on client behaviors and progress.
- Accompany clients out in the community to various places such as parks, malls, hikes, and pools. Swimming with the client is preferred but not required (extra pay available for swimming).
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Drive clients around the community in clients' vehicles.
- Follow BCBA's, managers, and parents' guidelines and goals for client care.
- Take initiative and come up with new activities for clients.
- Stay up to date on new changes and developments in the field.

Requirements:
- Valid authorization to work in the U.S.
- Able to pass a background check. (The current wait time for live scan results to come back is 4 weeks) You cannot start until the background results are finalized.
- Weekend availability (able to work either Saturday or Sunday).
- Experience working with clients with severe behaviors and autism is preferred, ideally with RBT or ABA experience, or someone eager and quick to learn new skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
Shifts and hours
We are currently seeking to fill the following positions:
- 3 full-time roles
- 2 parttime role
- 4 oncall (substitute) positions
We offer three different shifts:
- Morning
- Afternoon
- Overnight
