In the study of industrial engineering, you will combine technical and business functions within the company. Due to this dual competence, industrial engineers are primarily employed at interfaces between technology and business, such as in sales, purchasing, product or project management, or production control.

In addition to approximately 50% solid engineering knowledge and 30% business knowledge, approximately 20% key qualifications (such as rhetoric, presentation and moderation techniques) as well as foreign languages (English) complete your profile. Therefore, you should have an interest in technical and business relationships.

In the first year of study, you will be taught basic technical skills and knowledge; in the second year, you will learn business fundamentals and engineering work.
