We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Head Bartender to lead our bar team and elevate our tasting room experience.
Role Overview:
As the Head Bartender, you will play a crucial role in managing our tasting room's bar operations and providing exceptional service to our guests. You will be responsible for crafting innovative cocktails, managing inventory, leading and training the bar staff, and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and compliance are maintained. This role requires a creative individual with a passion for spirits, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a dynamic cocktail menu that complements our distillerys spirits and appeals to a wide range of tastes.
Conduct staff training sessions on cocktail techniques, spirit knowledge, and customer service excellence.
Manage bar inventory, including ordering supplies, controlling waste, and conducting regular stock takes.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing laws and regulations.
Provide exceptional service to guests, including making recommendations, sharing knowledge about our spirits and distillation process, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Collaborate with the management team to organize events and promotions that enhance the guest experience and increase foot traffic.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area to ensure a safe and inviting environment for both staff and guests.
**Qualifications:**
Proven experience as a bartender, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, and bar management.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for the craft distillery industry and a desire to continuously learn and grow.
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and hold relevant certifications : TIPS).
