    Job DescriptionEverStaff, a specialized recruiting firm, is actively searching for potential candidates for Direct Hire positions with one of our top clients. These positions entail direct employment with the client that offers exceptional work culture, PTO, and growth potential.Job Title: MIG WelderPay Rate: $20.00/hr. - $25.00/hr.Shift: 1stPosition Overview: As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for operating MIG welding equipment to join, fabricate, and repair metal parts and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be proficient in reading blueprints and welding diagrams, and possess the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:
    • Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques based on the specifications of the project.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, welding diagrams, and technical drawings to determine the appropriate welding process.
    • Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding by grinding, sanding, or scraping.
    • Position and secure workpieces using clamps, jigs, and fixtures, ensuring proper alignment.
    • Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions, following specified welding procedures and quality standards.
    • Monitor welding process to ensure proper fusion and penetration, making adjustments as necessary.
    • Inspect welded joints for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
    • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
    • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
    • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
    • Proficiency in MIG welding techniques, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
    • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
    • Familiarity with welding safety practices and procedures.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
    • Welding certification (e.g., AWS certification) is a plus.
    Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
    • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise welding tasks.
    • Ability to work in confined spaces and at various heights.
