Pioneer Pet Products, LLC is an international family-owned manufacturing company specializing in pet supplies and cat litter production located in Cedarburg, WI.
We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our team as our Quality Manager.This individual will be a key member of the site leadership team responsible for ensuring that the products distributed and manufactured at our facility comply with all applicable company, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
- Design and develop QA statistical process controls to meet GHL's customer's QA targets
- Generate, expand and review product specifications and GHL's manufacturing processes
- Along with R&D, set and document raw material requirements for intermediate products and monitor compliance
- Participate with HR to ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines and personnel legal obligations as it relates to QA
- Train and supervise inspectors, QA technicians and other staff while providing constructive guidance and feedback
- Contribute to and provide guidance for product development procedures in order to identify and track deviations from quality standards
- Be responsible for product quality output and compare product properties to requirements
- Approve product quality prior to shipping or reject product for defects
- Design accurate product documentation and perform statistical analysis
- Solicit customer feedback and determine that requirements are met
- Submit detailed reports to appropriate managers and team members
- Ability to lead and assist with continuous improvement programs
- Work with potential/existing customers during external audits (nonfinancial) of our facilities and operations
- Observe opportunities for improvement and implement efficient procedures. In conjunction with manufacturing engineering, participate in organizing and directing Kaizen Events.
Qualifications:
- 35 years' experience in quality control, with at least 12 years in an administrative role
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant standards
- Experience in manufacturing industry
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a genuine plus
- Conscientious and responsible
- A keen eye for detail and a results focused approach
- Outstanding communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Computer proficiency mandatory
- Excellent math and data analysis/statistical methods capability with the skill to communicate results
Job Type:
Full Time
Salary:
$75,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Schedule:
40 hours, Monday-Friday (flexible start times). Off hours may be occasionally required.
